A round on Teeth of the Dog® costs $400 if you are a registered Casa de Campo® guest — and $550 if you are not. That $150 gap is not a booking error. It is the single most important thing to understand before you plan golf here, because it is entirely within your control, and most visitors never realise it until they are standing at the starter’s desk.
Casa de Campo’s three Pete Dye courses are open to resort guests only. Book your villa the right way and you play at the lower rate on every course, every round. Here is exactly what golf costs at Casa de Campo in 2026 — green fees, caddies, rentals, taxes, and the maintenance dates that decide whether your favourite course is even open when you arrive.
Casa de Campo Golf Green Fees in 2026
All rates below are per person, per round of 18 holes, and are quoted before the Dominican Republic’s 18% tax. Each green fee already includes your shared cart, use of the practice range, and bag storage.
| Golfer type | Teeth of the Dog® | Dye Fore | The Links |
|---|---|---|---|
| Registered resort guest | $400 | $325 | $250 |
| Non-registered visitor | $550 | $400 | $325 |
The “registered resort guest” rate applies to anyone staying inside the resort — including every guest in a Caribbean Paradise Homes villa. A non-registered visitor is someone attempting to play without staying on property, which the resort discourages and prices accordingly. You must present your resort guest card at check-in; without it you are charged the higher rate.
For a foursome of registered guests, a single round on Teeth of the Dog works out at $1,600 plus tax before caddies. On The Links, that same foursome pays $1,000. The maths is worth doing before you build your week.
What the Green Fee Does Not Cover
Three costs sit outside the green fee, and they catch first-time visitors off guard.
Caddie Fees
Caddies are mandatory on Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore, and optional (though recommended) on The Links. Casa de Campo runs a programme of more than 150 caddies, paid in cash directly, with the tip already built into these totals:
- One or two players: $50 total
- Three or four players: $100 total
- A caddie walking and carrying your bag: $100 per bag
Note that these are group totals, not per-person figures — a fact the resort’s own pricing tables state but rarely emphasise. A foursome sharing carts pays $100 for caddie service across the whole group.
Club and Equipment Rental
You are expected to bring your own clubs, but rental sets are available:
- Titleist irons with GT woods, a Scotty Cameron putter and Vokey wedges: $100 per set, per day (or $595 per week), plus tax
- FootJoy rental shoes: $40 per pair, per day
- Standalone driving-range access: $35 per day
Because international customs can delay shipped clubs, the resort recommends travelling with your own or using a door-to-door service such as Ship Sticks. Rental availability is not guaranteed at short notice, so reserve sets when you book your tee times.
Non-Golfing Riders and Junior Rules
Anyone riding along in the cart without playing pays a $50 rider fee plus tax. Children under 17 are not permitted to drive golf carts anywhere on the courses.
How Villa Guests Pay the Lower Rate
This is where booking through a resort specialist pays for itself. A Caribbean Paradise Homes villa gives every member of your party full registered-resort-guest status. That means the $400 Teeth of the Dog rate rather than $550 — a $150 saving per golfer, per round. Over a week of daily golf for two, that difference alone comfortably exceeds $2,000.
It also means genuine access. The courses are gated to resort guests, tee-time priority favours those staying on property, and your guest card is what unlocks the lower rate at every pro shop. Staying in a golf villa is not a loophole; it is simply how the resort intends its golf to be played.
When to Book: The 2026 Maintenance Schedule
Casa de Campo closes its courses on a rotating schedule from May through October so they return in peak condition for the winter season. At least one course stays open at all times, and discounted rates apply during the maintenance window. If you are planning summer or early-autumn golf, check these 2026 dates before you commit to travel:
- Teeth of the Dog: closed 6–26 July (reopens 27 July) and 21–27 September
- The Links: closed 27 July – 23 August
- Dye Fore Marina: closed 6 July – 2 August
- Dye Fore Chavón: closed 8 June – 5 July
- Dye Fore Lagos: closed 24 August – 20 September
Dye Fore is really three nine-hole courses — Marina, Chavón and Lagos — normally played as Marina paired with Chavón. When one nine closes for maintenance, the open nine is paired with Lagos, so you can still play a full 18. Dates can shift, so confirm with the golf starter before arrival. The prime season, when all three courses run at full rates and full condition, is roughly November through April.
How to Reserve a Tee Time
Tee times are booked through the golf office, not your villa’s front desk. Reserve directly by emailing golf@ccampo.com.do or calling the golf office on 809.523.8115 (toll-free from the US: 866.719.8883); you can also book online at casadecampoteetimes.com. Your Caribbean Paradise Homes concierge can arrange this on your behalf before arrival, which is the simplest route during the busy winter months when the best morning slots go quickly.
Teeth of the Dog runs morning tee times from 7:30 a.m. and afternoon slots from around 12:15 p.m., off both the first and tenth tees every nine minutes. Pace of play is set at four and a half hours on Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore, and four hours on The Links. One policy to respect: no-shows and cancellations inside 24 hours are charged the full green fee.
A Note on Dress Code
The courses enforce a straightforward dress code for players and riders alike: collared shirts and appropriate shorts or slacks. T-shirts, jeans, denim shorts, cut-offs, swimwear and tank tops are not permitted. Pack accordingly — the starter will turn you away otherwise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Casa de Campo golf green fees really cheaper for villa guests?
Yes. Registered resort guests — which includes everyone staying in a Caribbean Paradise Homes villa — pay the lower rate on all three courses: $400 on Teeth of the Dog versus $550 for non-registered visitors, and similar gaps on Dye Fore and The Links.
Do green fees include a caddie?
No. Green fees cover your cart, range use and bag storage, but caddies are paid separately in cash — $50 for one or two players, $100 for three or four, as a group total including tip. Caddies are required on Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore.
Is there tax on top of the quoted rates?
Yes. All golf rates are subject to the Dominican Republic’s 18% tax, which is added to green fees, rentals and rider fees but not to caddie payments.
Can non-resort guests play the courses?
Only at the higher non-registered rate, and access is discouraged and limited. Staying inside the resort — in a hotel room or a villa — is the intended and far more economical way to play.
Which months should I avoid for golf?
May through October brings rotating course closures for maintenance, though at least one course always stays open. For all three courses in peak condition, plan for November through April.
