When you are browsing luxury villa rentals at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, the price tag is rarely the “final” number. Because the resort operates as a private, gated community of over 7,000 acres, the logistics of your stay involve a mix of villa-specific amenities and mandatory resort fees.
To ensure your 2026 trip has zero “check-out friction,” here is the definitive breakdown of what is actually included when you rent a villa.
1. The Mandatory Resort Registration Fee
This is the most common surprise for first-time renters. If you are renting a private villa (rather than booking a hotel room directly through the resort), every guest must pay a registration fee to the Villa Owners Club.
2026 Rates:
Adults (13+): $30 per person, per night
Children (4–12): $15 per person, per night
Children under 4: Free
What this fee buys you:
Access to the resort gates and 24/7 security.
Use of towels and chaise lounges at Minitas Beach Club and the main hotel swimming pools.
Access to the fitness center, equestrian center, and tennis courts (note: court fees and gym classes still apply).
2. Transportation: The Golf Cart Rule
At Casa de Campo, a golf cart is not a luxury—it is a necessity. The resort is larger than many small towns.
The Value: Renting these separately can cost between $75 and $125 per day, per cart.
Important Note: These carts are for internal resort roads only; they are not the same as the “golfing carts” used on the Teeth of the Dog or Dye Fore courses.
3. Villa Staff & Daily Service
While every villa is independently owned, there is a gold standard for staffing in the Dominican Republic.
Daily Breakfast: Include a dedicated staff member who prepares a fresh breakfast in your villa each morning (you provide the groceries).
Staff Service: Daily service is standard from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Concierge Access: You will have access to our Concierge, who can handle your spa appointments, and restaurant reservations at places like La Casita or Chilango.
