The kids head straight to the pool while the parents settle onto the long covered terrace, and by the time the sun is up the whole house is open to the morning. Villa Coral sits inland in Barranca Oeste, the quiet residential pocket between the Shooting Center and the Racquet Center, away from the beach crowds and the resort foot traffic. Five bedrooms sleep ten, three of them set up for kids, and an included cook handles all the meals.

The covered terrace runs the full back of the house, and the family spreads out across it without losing sight of the pool. Kids stay in the water within view of whoever's stretched on a lounger. The carved wooden doors at the back of the great room stand open during the day, so the inside and the terrace run as one open space. By mid-afternoon the youngest are in the water, the older kids have disappeared into the TV den, and the grandparents are reading outside — each generation in its own pocket without stepping on each other. By sundown the grill is going and dinner runs long at the alfresco table.

From Barranca Oeste, the Racquet Center, Shooting Center, and Equestrian Center are all a cart ride away, with Minitas Beach a few minutes further. Teeth of the Dog and The Links tee off a short drive from the door, with Teeth of the Dog ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards. Q: Can Villa Coral accommodate two families sharing the villa for a week?
Yes. Five bedrooms sleep ten in total, with three of the bedrooms set up with twin beds for kids and two suites for the adults. The covered terrace runs the full back of the house with multiple sitting and dining zones, so two families can share meals together or split into separate pockets when they want. The pool sits within line of sight of most of the outdoor seating, which makes it easy to keep eyes on younger kids from anywhere on the terrace.

Q: How far is the villa from the golf courses, and how do tee times work?
Teeth of the Dog and The Links both tee off a short drive from Villa Coral, about two miles to either course. Teeth of the Dog is ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards. Dye Fore is a longer drive at the far end of the resort, near Altos de Chavón. Tee times are arranged through the resort concierge and green fees are paid at the pro shop. A golf cart can be added to your stay through our concierge team if you'd rather take the cart paths than drive.

Q: Is Villa Coral set up well for families with young children?
Yes. Three of the five bedrooms are configured with twin beds and styled with kids in mind, and two of the pool-facing bedrooms open directly onto the outdoor terrace and pool deck. The pool has a separate raised jacuzzi alongside it, and the surrounding lounge zones give parents clear sightlines to the water. A second family TV den sits off the great room as a quieter retreat for older kids. Baby gear like cribs and high chairs can be arranged through our concierge team in advance.

Q: Can the villa host a private dinner or family gathering?
Yes. The indoor dining room seats ten or twelve at a long dark-wood table under a vaulted wood-plank ceiling, and the covered outdoor terrace has its own long alfresco dining table, a round table for casual meals, and a bar counter with stools. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cook handles all the meals during your stay, so a private dinner can be set up indoors or outdoors without extra coordination on your part.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old
