The 12 Best Villa Rentals at Casa de Campo®
Curated by CPH — direct-relationship specialists since 2003
Twenty-three years inside the same resort changes how you look at a villa shortlist. After walking through every property in our 80-villa Casa de Campo® collection, most of them more times than I can count, these are the twelve I recommend most often when a guest asks the question that actually matters: which villa is right for this trip. The shortlist covers the four parts of Casa de Campo® that drive almost every booking we take — the beachfront along Minitas Bay, the fairways of Pete Dye’s three championship courses (including Teeth of the Dog), the walkable Marina district, and the cliffside estates of Punta Aguila.
Caribbean Paradise Homes represents twelve villas in this curated shortlist, spanning beachfront flagships (Casa Minitas, Villa Miramar), clifftop estates (Villa Farallon, Casa Aguila), golf-frontage homes (Casa Cana, Golf Villa 8, La Florentina, Hacienda Mallet), classic Punta Minitas oceanfront (La Madera), large-group villas (El Cocotal), and Marina-walkable options (La Sultana, La Darsena). Every villa on this list includes full in-villa staff as standard — housekeepers, cook, and pool/garden maintenance — with butler and villa-manager roles added on the larger estates. Each includes a chef preparing meals during villa staff hours. Every Caribbean home we represent is booked direct, with concierge service included.

Why These 12
How we built this shortlist. After 23 years booking villas inside Casa de Campo®, every property in our portfolio is selected against five criteria — and only twelve are the ones we recommend most often when a guest asks us cold.
1. Location quality. The immediate setting and how it pairs with what guests come to Casa de Campo® for — beach, golf, marina, or cliffside privacy.
2. Design quality. Interior finishes, outdoor flow, and whether the villa is as photogenic in person as it is in marketing photography.
3. Service capability. The strength of the in-villa staff, the owner’s investment in service standards, and the reliability of the housekeeping team.
4. Owner relationship. A direct, long-standing relationship between CPH and the villa owner, with continuous availability and pricing visibility.
5. Consistency of delivery. Whether the actual stay matches the brochure, every time. If a villa drops on any of those five, we don’t represent it — which is why our portfolio sits at ~80 villas rather than a few hundred.
Which Villa For Which Trip
Four trip types we field most often, with the villas in our shortlist ranked by best-fit. If your brief looks like one of these, this is where to start.
Milestone Family Gatherings
For multi-generational trips of 16–24 guests.
Casa Minitas leads for beachfront flagships — most living spaces face the Caribbean, private shoreline below the property.
Villa Farallon leads for clifftop and event-capable layouts — 50-foot ocean drop, two kitchens, gym, media room.
Casa Cana leads when the brief includes serious golfers in the party — fairway frontage on Teeth of the Dog plus a golf simulator covers both the players and the rainy-day backup.
Serious Golf Trips
For groups of 4–16 who came to play.
Golf Villa 8 for compact serious groups at Teeth of the Dog — sea view from the tee, walkable to the practice range.
La Florentina for golf with the most cinematic view — Dye Fore frontage with Chavón River views below.
Hacienda Mallet for mixed-ability family golf — Vistamar golf-estate setup with putting green and expansive lawn for a week-long trip.
Wedding Guests & Group Stays
For families attending a wedding on resort, or any large group that wants villas instead of hotel rooms.
El Cocotal anchors the wider block of wedding guests — the two-acre footprint comfortably houses an extended family or friend group.
Villa Farallon anchors the headline group with cliff-edge ocean views from every bedroom.
CPH does not host weddings at the villas — Casa de Campo® runs ceremonies through the resort. What we do is house your wedding guests across multiple villas with one coordinated booking, group transfers, and a single point of contact.
Marina & Foodie Stays
For couples-heavy groups whose evenings live at the Marina.
La Sultana for design-led 5-bedroom Balinese architecture, walkable to La Casita, SBG, and Causa.
La Darsena for compact 3-bedroom Marina dock-front weekends — walk out the front door, you’re at the restaurants.
Both base you at the heart of the resort’s restaurant and nightlife scene rather than at a quiet villa five minutes away.
Same Resort, Different Days
The four corners of Casa de Campo®. The thing first-time guests get wrong about this resort is treating it as one experience. It isn’t. Casa de Campo® runs 7,000 acres across four distinct enclaves — beachfront, golf, marina, and cliffside — and the villa you book determines, more than anything else, which of those four resorts you’re actually staying at.
A morning at Casa Minitas starts on a private beach below the terrace. A morning at Casa Cana starts on the fairway of Teeth of the Dog. A morning at La Darsena starts at a Marina café three doors down. A morning at Villa Farallon starts 50 feet above the Caribbean on a clifftop with no neighbouring villa in sight.
Same resort, very different days. The shortlist above is organised so you can read it by the corner of the resort you want to spend your week in — or call us and we’ll match you in fifteen minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the actual difference between the 12 villas on this list and the rest of CPH’s portfolio?
These 12 are the ones we personally recommend most often when a brief comes in cold — strong location, design that holds up in person, in-villa staff with long tenure, and an owner relationship that gives us pricing visibility and consistent availability. The rest of our 80+ villa portfolio offers great fits for specific briefs; this list is the entry point for first-time guests asking “where do we start.”
Can we book any of these 12 villas directly, or do we have to go through the resort?
Direct with Caribbean Paradise Homes. Many CPH-represented villas aren’t bookable through the resort’s central reservations — we work directly with each owner. Our pricing matches or beats the resort’s direct rates, and the resort access fee is identical regardless of booking channel.
Can these villas host a wedding ceremony or reception?
No. Casa de Campo® runs ceremonies, receptions, and wedding events through the resort itself — not through individual villas. What we do at CPH is house your wedding guests across multiple villas with one coordinated booking. If you’re attending a wedding on resort and want a villa instead of a hotel room, this is exactly what we do. We typically coordinate multi-villa blocks of 3–6 villas for wedding parties, with shared transfers, in-villa staff schedules, and one point of contact.
Which villas are best for a golf trip?
Three branches. Golf Villa 8 for compact serious-golf groups of 4–8 (walkable to Teeth of the Dog). La Florentina for golf groups who also want the most cinematic view at the resort (Dye Fore frontage with Chavón River views). Hacienda Mallet for mixed-ability family golf trips that want a base-camp setup with a putting green on-site.
How is Casa de Campo® different from Punta Cana, and why does that affect villa choice?
Casa de Campo® runs on private villa staff and individual property service. Punta Cana runs on all-inclusive resort infrastructure. The two markets serve different briefs — Casa de Campo® for groups that want their own home, their own cook, their own schedule, and the privacy that comes with all of it; Punta Cana for groups that want buffet, beach club, and zero coordination.
Does the cook actually handle all our meals?
Yes. The included cook prepares meals for the group during villa staff hours (standard hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, varying only at select villas). For larger group counts (16+), we add a butler or second cook. Menus are coordinated with our concierge before arrival.
What is the resort fee, and does it change between these 12 villas?
The Casa de Campo® resort access fee is the same flat per-person-per-day charge across all villa rentals on resort, regardless of villa or booking channel. It covers resort entry, the use of resort facilities, and beach access. The fee is communicated in writing at the time of reservation.
How do I get a tailored shortlist for my actual trip?
Tell us four things: dates, group size, what brought you to Casa de Campo®, and what mattered when you stayed somewhere you loved. We will come back with three or four villas off the wider portfolio that actually fit, with notes on the trade-offs between them. No obligation; we just want the placement to be right.
What hours does the villa staff work?
Standard staff hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, and no staff sleep in; only at select villas do the hours vary from this. If you would like the cook or another staff member to stay later, for example for a late dinner, ask us in advance and you cover a transport allowance of US$60 per staff member for their ride home.
