Casa de Campo® Los Limones

Garden Villas a Short Walk from Minitas Beach

Los Limones is the residential pocket nearest Minitas Beach at Casa de Campo® — a grid of quiet streets behind the beach club where the walk to the sand takes a few minutes with a towel under your arm, and the cart stays parked for most of the day. The houses are garden villas rather than estates: four bedrooms, a pool along the lawn, a gazebo for lunch, and hedges tall enough that the neighbours are heard but not seen. There are no sea views from Los Limones — the sea is for walking to, not looking at — and that trade is exactly why guests choose it over the pricier beachfront addresses.

Caribbean Paradise Homes represents two villas in Los Limones: Casa Blue, a four-bedroom with a long lap pool, raised jacuzzi and garden gazebo, and Porta Azul, a contemporary four-bedroom with art in every room, a pool and a shaded upper terrace. Both include a cook. For a beach-walk villa with more bedrooms, Minitas Garden in neighbouring Jardín Minitas sleeps ten.

What Defines a Los Limones Villa

Four bedrooms sleeping eight, a private pool and a covered outdoor spot for meals — that is the Los Limones formula. Both Caribbean Paradise Homes villas here are single-family garden houses with a cook included, priced from $1,450 per night: the most affordable walk-to-beach addresses in the portfolio. The gardens are real gardens — mature trees, lawn, a gazebo with a roof — rather than a pool deck with a hedge.

Who These Villas Are Perfect For

Los Limones suits two couples on a long weekend, a family of up to eight whose days split between the beach in the morning and the pool in the afternoon, and friend groups who want a short, walkable stay without a car or cart at the centre of the day. Not the right address for groups over eight under one roof, or for guests who want the sea in view from the terrace — for that, see Punta Minitas or Punta Aguila.

What Makes a Los Limones Villa Different

The Only Pocket Where the Beach Is a Walk

Minitas Beach Club is a few minutes on foot from both villas — the closest any residential pocket at Casa de Campo® gets to the sand without being on it. Teeth of the Dog, The Links and the Spa are a short cart ride up the road; the Casa de Campo® Marina a similar ride the other way; Altos de Chavón and Dye Fore a drive across the resort. Included cook prepares meals during villa staff hours — standard hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, varying only at select villas.

Beach Mornings, Pool Afternoons

Minitas Beach — the resort’s main beach, with the beach club restaurant and watersports, short walk. Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean’s top course by the World Golf Awards, short cart ride. The Links — the inland course, short cart ride. Casa de Campo® Marina — restaurants, shops and catamarans, short cart ride. Altos de Chavón — the stone village on the cliff, a drive across the resort for the evening out.

What Is Typically Included

Both Los Limones villas come with their own staff — a cook and housekeeping — during standard villa staff hours, and direct-with-owner rates with no booking fees. Not included: the Casa de Campo® resort access fee (which is what opens Minitas Beach to you), golf cart rental, green fees and transfers, all of which we help you arrange before arrival. Los Limones is the answer for walkable beach weeks for up to eight guests; not the right address for larger groups or sea views.

Pricing for Los Limones villas

Los Limones villa rentals run from $1,450/night for Porta Azul to $1,600/night for Casa Blue — both four-bedroom villas sleeping eight with a cook included, and the lowest entry point to a walk-to-beach stay at Casa de Campo®. Minimum stays differ: Porta Azul from 3 nights, Casa Blue from 6 nights outside the festive period. The two villas:

  • Porta Azul — contemporary 4-bedroom art villa with pool, gazebo and upper terrace: from $1,450/night
  • Casa Blue — 4-bedroom villa with lap pool, raised jacuzzi and garden gazebo: from $1,600/night

Every Los Limones booking includes the property’s staff (cook for meals during villa staff hours, housekeeping) and direct-with-owner rates — no booking fees, no third-party markup. Resort access is not included in the villa rate: it is granted once the Casa de Campo® resort access fee is paid. For an exact quote on your dates, tell us what you’re planning and one of our specialists will come back to you within a few hours.

Rates are indicative only and subject to change based on exact dates, occupancy, villa selection, and availability at the time of booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which kind of trip is Los Limones best suited to?

Los Limones suits two couples on a long weekend, a family of up to eight whose days split between the beach in the morning and the pool in the afternoon, and friend groups who want a walkable stay with the cart parked for most of the day. Both Caribbean Paradise Homes villas here — Casa Blue and Porta Azul — sleep eight across four bedrooms with a cook included. It is not the address for groups over eight under one roof, or for guests who want the sea in view from the terrace; for those, see Punta Minitas or Punta Aguila.

Can you really walk to Minitas Beach from Los Limones?

Yes. Minitas Beach is about half a mile (0.8 km) from both villas — a few minutes on foot along the resort’s internal roads, or a two-minute cart ride. Los Limones is the closest residential pocket to the sand that is not itself on the beachfront. Access to the beach and the beach club requires the Casa de Campo® resort access fee, which we coordinate before arrival. For what to expect on the sand — loungers, watersports, the beach club restaurant — see our Minitas Beach guide.

How far is Teeth of the Dog from Los Limones?

Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean’s top course by the World Golf Awards — and The Links are about 2.2 miles (3.5 km) from Los Limones, a short cart ride up the road; the Spa sits in the same area. Dye Fore and Altos de Chavón are about 3.6 miles (5.8 km), a drive across the resort. Tee times are booked directly with the Casa de Campo® golf office; golf carts are rented separately from the villa and we help you arrange one before arrival.

How does Los Limones compare to Punta Minitas?

Punta Minitas is the beachfront peninsula — villas on or above the sand, with the sea in view and rates to match. Los Limones sits a few streets behind the same beach: garden villas with four bedrooms, a pool and a gazebo, and the beach a short walk rather than a view. Both Los Limones villas are priced from $1,450–$1,600 per night, which is the most affordable way to build a stay around Minitas Beach at Casa de Campo®.

What does the resort fee cover for Los Limones guests?

The Casa de Campo® resort access fee is paid separately from the villa rate and is what opens Minitas Beach and the beach club, the resort’s pools and resort-wide services to you. Casa Blue and Porta Azul rates include the property’s own staff — a cook preparing meals during villa staff hours and housekeeping — and direct-with-owner pricing with no booking fees or third-party markup. For a full breakdown on your dates, ask during the enquiry process.

What hours does the villa staff work?

Standard staff hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, and no staff sleep in; only at select villas do the hours vary from this. If you would like the cook or another staff member to stay later, for example for a late dinner, ask us in advance and you cover a transport allowance of US$60 per staff member for their ride home.
