October is the quiet month at Casa de Campo®. The holidays are not.
The resort is at its calmest in October, with the widest choice of villas and the gentlest rates of the year. The 4th Casa de Campo® Food & Wine Festival opened the season on 9 and 10 October, and late October still has 64 villas open.
Behind the quiet, the winter calendar is filling. Thanksgiving week still has 36 villas, but very few remain for the full Christmas and New Year stay, with 7- to 10-night minimums. Presidents’ Day and Easter 2027 are already taking bookings.

Presidents’ Day falls on 15 February 2027, in the heart of high season. 3-night minimum.

Is it too late to book a villa for Christmas and New Year?
Not yet, but the list is short. Very few villas are still available for the full 20 December to 6 January stay. Festive stays carry 7- to 10-night minimums and are non-refundable once paid, so we recommend deciding this month. See the festive villas.
When should we book Easter 2027?
Easter Sunday is 28 March 2027, and Easter week has a 5-night minimum. 50 villas are open today; the sooner you book, the wider the choice.
How do payments work?
50% of the total on booking and the balance 60 days before arrival, by bank transfer. Every villa’s rental policies are on its listing.
Is October a good time to visit?
It is the quietest month of the year, with the lowest villa rates. October falls within the Atlantic hurricane season, so read our hurricane season guide before you book.
