Corporate Retreat Villas at Casa de Campo®

A private house for the team, with the rooms counted the way a planner counts them

Why a villa and not a conference hotel

A leadership team of eight does not need a ballroom. It needs one table, a kitchen that feeds people at the hour the session actually breaks, bedrooms nobody shares, and something worth doing at four o’clock. Casa de Campo® gives the four o’clock: three Pete Dye courses, the Marina, the shooting centre, deep-sea fishing, the beach. The villa gives the rest, with a cook, a butler and daily housekeeping, inside a gated 7,000-acre resort ten minutes from La Romana airport.

Corporate villas, verified room by room

Nine houses where every bedroom has a king or two queens and no bunks, so the planner’s count is the real count. Rates are from-prices per night for the whole villa, before the 18% service charge; one agreement, one invoice.

The one-person-one-room question, answered first

Planners count bedrooms with their own bathroom and a bed for one adult, and most villas at Casa de Campo® were built for families, so a “six-bedroom villa” may be four real rooms plus a bunk room and a kids’ room. We shortlist corporate villas only where every bedroom has a king or two queens and no bunks, and we confirm bathrooms per bedroom on each listing before we propose it. Rooms with two queens suit two colleagues who agree to share; kings are one person or a couple. Tell us the headcount, how many are sharing, and whether the CEO needs the master, and the shortlist follows.

Three more planner questions. The table: working sessions happen at the dining table or on the covered terrace; we confirm seat count and power per villa. Wi-Fi: all villas have it; we test speed at the villa before confirming a working retreat. Billing: one rental agreement, one invoice, the 18% service charge and the resort access fee itemised; the cook’s groceries billed at cost.

Where teams stay

Punta Aguila and Vista Chavón for the house that impresses: cliff and river views, eight to ten bedrooms, chef and butler. Vistamar, Barranca and Riomar for six-bedroom houses with every room a king. Las Palmas for the Marina on the doorstep and Dye Fore in the morning.

Who fits where: five or six executives, one each → La Madera, River House, Casa Roble. Eight to ten with some sharing → Casa Cana, Villa Palmeras, El Cocotal. Two villas side by side for 14–20 → ask; Vista Chavón and Punta Aguila both have neighbouring houses we represent.
