Between rounds, the villa has two outdoor zones. The upper covered terrace looks out through a wide rectangular cutout to lawn, palms, and the Caribbean horizon. The dining table sits there for breakfast and sundown. The ground-floor porch opens onto a lawn that runs out to palms and the ocean just past them, cooler in the middle of the afternoon. The kitchen is recently renovated, set up for guests cooking on their own schedule.

Bella Vista is in Golf Villa I Phase, the resort's most central golf pocket — the Hotel sits beside it and the Spa is a few minutes along the same road. Yes. The villa is multi-level and recently renovated throughout, with the first tee of Teeth of the Dog a few minutes from the door. There's no private pool — the resort main pool and Minitas Beach are short cart rides from the front gate.

Tee times are arranged through our concierge and green fees are paid at the Pro Shop on arrival. The 19th Hole Bar sits on the same loop for the after-round drink, and the Hotel and Spa are a few minutes along the same road. Most golfers staying at Bella Vista don't need a car the entire week.

Q: How private are the terraces, and what do they look at?
The upper covered terrace has a wide rectangular cutout in the wall framing lawn, palms, and the Caribbean horizon — that's the villa's standout view. The ground-floor porch opens onto the back lawn, with palms and ocean horizon in the distance. Neither overlooks neighbouring villas. Two of the three bedrooms also have direct sea sight: the upstairs king through a wood-framed picture window, the second downstairs room through a sliding glass door to its own private patio.

The nightly rate covers the villa and the housekeeper. There's no cook included, but the kitchen is recently renovated and equipped for guests who want to cook on their own schedule; a private chef can be arranged through our concierge for guests who want one. Food and beverages, golf cart and car rental, baby equipment, airport transfers, and pre-stocking are arranged through our concierge and billed separately. The 18% service fee and the Casa de Campo Resort registration fee — US$30 per adult per night, US$15 per child age 4–12 — are added at the end. Resort registration covers the three golf courses, the Fitness Center, restaurants, loungers and towels at the main hotel pool and at Minitas Beach, and the medical center at Central Romana.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:

• Complimentary for children under 4 years old
