Four bedrooms sleep eight in a hacienda estate in Vistamar, with an included cook handling all the meals. The fit: a small-group trip of golfers and partners, a family who came for the walled grounds and the outdoor pavilions, or two couples on a long weekend who chose hacienda over the modern statement villas.

Mornings start at the primary suite's outdoor shower garden, river pebbles underfoot and the sky open above. Breakfast is at the open-sided pavilion by the pool, the fairway just past the palms. The pool runs alongside with a jacuzzi at one end. The glazed lounge pavilion sits opposite for shade when the sun is high, cathedral beams of dark mahogany overhead. By sundown the BBQ is on at the dining pavilion and the long table runs the length of it for dinner.

Hacienda Mallet sits in Vistamar, an established golf neighbourhood at the southeast edge of the resort. Altos de Chavón is a short cart ride for dinner above the river, with Dye Fore in the same direction for the cliffside round. Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards — and The Links are a short drive the other way. The Marina is a short ride for the evening on the water, and Minitas Beach is a short cart ride for the sand day. Off the primary suite, a frosted-glass door opens into a private walled garden, open to the sky and planted with river pebbles, a fiddle-leaf fig, and red crotons. Morning bathing happens here instead of inside a standard en-suite — outdoor, fully private, before the rest of the household is up. Few villa rentals at Casa de Campo offer anything like it.

From any outdoor space at Hacienda Mallet — pool, dining pavilion, lounge pavilion, or the primary suite's walled shower garden — no neighbour overlooks the property. The estate sits behind walled grounds with a sweeping cobblestone driveway screening the villa from the road, and mature plantings enclose the entire garden. Inside, an interior courtyard separates the formal living spaces from the guest wing, so multi-family groups settle into different zones without constantly crossing paths.

Yes. The outdoor dining pavilion at one end of the pool seats six at a covered table with a built-in stainless-steel BBQ alongside for the cook to grill poolside. A separate glass-enclosed lounge pavilion sits opposite for shaded seating or rainy evenings. The formal indoor dining room seats ten, so the villa handles a full-group dinner across two settings if the group prefers. The butler handles service from the kitchen to the table.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

RESORT FEE / ACCESS & AMENITIES INCLUDE
Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of their stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:
• Access to golf courses, Fitness Center, resort's restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.

Rental Policies

Security Deposit: A security deposit equivalent to one (1) night’s rental rate is required to cover any loss or damage to the property or its contents during the stay.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • If the Guest cancels a reservation sixty (60) days or less prior to arrival, or any reservation during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, all payments made are non-refundable.
  • If the Guest arrives and decides to depart early or cancel the stay for personal reasons, no refunds will be issued for unused rental nights.
  • If the property becomes unavailable or uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control (including but not limited to fire, hurricane, earthquake, strike, riot, or other force majeure events), the Owner will refund all payments received.
  • In the event of late payment or non-payment, the Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the outstanding balance is not received within three (3) business days of written notification.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 60 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 30 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
