Villa Esfera - Round Mexican Villa & Twin Palapas | La Catalina, Casa de Campo Resort

Walk in through the bamboo and Villa Esfera circles around its own gardens. The two-level round villa sits in La Catalina, with a curved infinity pool at the center and twin thatched palapas pulling the layout into a yin-yang from above. Five bedrooms sleep twelve, sixteen with the bunk room, and an included cook handles all the meals.

Mornings start on the upper terrace with drinks and the sea catching light past the palms. By mid-morning everyone's down at the kitchen for breakfast around the marble island. Outside, the group spreads across the compound. The curved infinity pool sits at the center. Across the lawn, the thatched palapa has a hammock strung up for afternoons out of the sun. A second open-air terrace handles the long lunch. Talavera-tiled bathrooms and Latin-American artwork keep the Mexican thread running through every room. The wine room sits off the main level, and the bunk room with four stacked beds is the one the kids fight over.

La Catalina sits on the resort's quieter western side, a short cart ride from the central golf core. Teeth of the Dog tees off down the road, ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards, with The Links and the spa at the same address. The Equestrian Center is the other direction, and Minitas is close enough for a late-morning beach run. Villa Esfera is the villa to book when the architecture is the destination, someone else is handling the meals, and a multi-generation group needs the space to spread out and find each other again.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

RESORT FEE / ACCESS & AMENITIES INCLUDE
Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of their stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:
• Access to golf courses, Fitness Center, resort's restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.
• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool located in the main hotel area, as well as at Minitas Beach.
• Access to health care services at the Central Romana Medical Center.
