Walk in through the bamboo and Villa Esfera circles around its own gardens. The two-level round villa sits in La Catalina, with a curved infinity pool at the center and twin thatched palapas pulling the layout into a yin-yang from above. Five bedrooms sleep twelve and an included cook handles the meals.

Mornings start on the upper terrace with drinks and the sea catching light past the palms. By mid-morning everyone's down at the kitchen for breakfast around the marble island. Outside, the group spreads across the compound. The curved infinity pool sits at the center. Across the lawn, the thatched palapa has a hammock strung up for afternoons out of the sun. La Catalina sits on the resort's quieter western side, a short cart ride from the central golf core. Teeth of the Dog tees off down the road, ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards, with The Links and the spa at the same address. The Equestrian Center is the other direction, and Minitas is close enough for a late-morning beach run. Villa Esfera is the villa to book when the architecture is the destination, someone else is handling the meals, and a multi-generation group needs the space to spread out and find each other again.

RESORT FEE & ACCESS
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:

• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

Resort fee provides access to:

• Golf courses, Fitness Center, resort restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.
• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area, and at Minitas Beach.
