Out back, the pool runs the full length of the property. At the far end, a separate terracotta-roofed pavilion sits open on all sides, with chairs and a long sectional in the shade. Down the lawn, white umbrellas shade two daybeds facing the ocean — cushions deep enough that no one moves until the sun starts to drop. A private gym at the back of the villa fills up before breakfast and is empty again by ten. By evening the full twelve sit down to dinner inside, the garden doors stacked open.

A chef is included in every Casa Calm stay and prepares all the meals at the villa — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen has a full island and prep counter, so group lunches and large dinners are handled on site without anyone leaving the property. Menus are built around the dietary preferences shared in advance, and the concierge will source produce, fish, and meat to suit specific requests. A housekeeper and waiter also stay throughout the booking to handle the table, the bar, and the rest of the household.

Q: How close is Casa Calm to the golf courses?
Casa Calm sits a short cart ride from Teeth of the Dog, The Links, and the resort spa — all at the same end of the resort. Teeth of the Dog has been ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards, with The Links and Dye Fore as the other two championship 18-hole courses on property. Tee times are arranged through the resort concierge, and green fees are paid at the pro shop on the day of play. Dye Fore is the longer ride to the eastern end of the resort.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:

• Complimentary for children under 4 years old
