Walk out the back of La Plage onto your own sand on Minitas Bay, Catalina Island on the horizon and kayaks already on the beach. Nine bedrooms sleep twenty in a beachfront compound in Punta Minitas, with an included cook handling all the meals. The fit: a multi-generation family with cousins and grandchildren together, a friend group of twenty who came for a private beach week, or two families splitting the villa across the children's bunk room and the adult suites.

Mornings start at the Pilates studio for the early workout, reformer and Cadillac and arc barrel set up before anyone else is down. Breakfast goes at the palapa for twenty under the thatched roof. The pool sits just steps from the sand and features a volleyball net, beach-entry steps, a cold plunge, and a jacuzzi, with the tranquil bay stretching out beyond. Lunch is often enjoyed at the pool bar, where a wood-fired pizza oven anchors one side and a gas barbecue the other. As the sun begins to set, the fire pit terrace becomes the gathering place of choice. A generous white sectional surrounds the stone fire feature, creating the perfect setting to unwind while the bay gradually darkens beyond the lawn.

La Plage sits in Punta Minitas, on a private point on Minitas Bay. Minitas Beach Club is a short walk for the days you want the resort beach instead of your own. The Marina is a short cart ride for an evening out, and Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards — is a short drive inland for the round. Altos de Chavón is a longer drive up the cliff for dinner above the river. Book La Plage when the trip is built around your own sand and the kids in one room, not a beachfront villa where the bay is shared with the next plot.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of their stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:
