Casa Aguila - Cliffside Family Villa | Punta Águila, Casa de Campo

Watch the youngest kids run barefoot across the lawn toward the cliff edge and stop a long way short of the rocks. Casa Aguila sits at the end of Punta Águila, the resort's southwestern cliff promontory — open Caribbean on three sides and no neighbouring villa in your sightline. Seven bedrooms, fourteen guests, an included cook handling all the meals.

Pour a drink and take it to the cliff-edge terrace before the family's up. The lap pool runs the length of the lawn, long enough for an actual swim before breakfast. Two families fit here without sharing rooms or bathrooms — the bedrooms sit in their own pavilions linked by covered walkways, so the kids have somewhere to retreat and the grandparents have somewhere quiet. By late afternoon the older kids are in the media room and the toddler is asleep in the bunk pavilion. Drinks come out at the fire pit by sundown, with the youngest already in pyjamas and the rest of the family on the teal sofas. No one's in a rush to go inside.

The resort core is a short cart ride away. Teeth of the Dog tees off there, ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards, with The Links sharing the address and the spa next door. The Equestrian Center sits down a side road from the same hub. Minitas Beach is a little further on when the family wants sand and a beach restaurant. Casa Aguila is the villa to book when two families travel together and want a cliffside view for the adults and a safe stretch of lawn for the kids.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

RESORT FEE / ACCESS & AMENITIES INCLUDE
Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of their stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:
• Access to golf courses, Fitness Center, resort's restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.
• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool located in the main hotel area, as well as at Minitas Beach.
