Villa Kari is built around this kind of evening — a five-bedroom one-story villa on a quiet inland street in Las Canas II, with Altos de Chavón and the Racquet Center both a short cart ride away. The villa sleeps ten across the single floor, with an included cook handling all the meals.

Most of the trip happens outside the house. The pool runs along a wide travertine terrace, with floating loungers on the shallow ledge so nobody waits a turn. One covered terrace is the lounge, and the wet bar built into the back wall means nobody has to keep walking back inside for drinks. The other is the outdoor kitchen, and most nights the group ends up cooking out here. The round teak table seats eight outside, and meals tend to run long. The back lawn is wider than most inland plots in the resort, and the neighbours sit far enough back to feel like a private estate.

Las Canas II is one of the quietest inland pockets of the resort, with Altos de Chavón a short ride east for dinner at La Piazzetta and a wander through the cobbled lanes. The Racquet Center and Equestrian Center are both close, and Minitas Beach is a short ride south when the group wants the sand. Villa Kari is the villa to book when a family or small multi-couple group wants a private inland base built around the outdoor kitchen, not a beach house or a golf villa.

Yes. The villa is a single-floor layout with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, so the daily flow stays easy for grandparents, parents, and kids without any stairs to navigate. The bedroom mix includes a primary suite with a spa-style bath and outdoor shower, a coastal-style bedroom with sliders to the garden, and a two-bed room with twin beds and built-in wardrobes for younger guests. Two distinct living areas — the open-plan great room and a sage-green sitting room — give the group somewhere to split off and reconvene.

Q: Is Villa Kari suitable for families with young children?
Yes. The single-floor footprint means no stairs anywhere in the villa, and the very large private lawn surrounding the house gives kids room to run without leaving sight of the back terrace. Every bedroom has either floor-to-ceiling sliders or wide windows facing the garden, and most open directly onto the lawn. The location on a quiet inland street in Las Canas II keeps cart traffic to a minimum. Baby gear, cribs, and additional childcare can be arranged through the concierge ahead of arrival.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

RESORT FEE / ACCESS & AMENITIES INCLUDE
Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of their stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:
• Access to golf courses, Fitness Center, resort's restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.

Rental Policies

Security Deposit: A security deposit equivalent to one (1) night’s rental rate is required to cover any loss or damage to the property or its contents during the stay.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • If the Guest cancels a reservation sixty (60) days or less prior to arrival, or any reservation during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, all payments made are non-refundable.
  • If the Guest arrives and decides to depart early or cancel the stay for personal reasons, no refunds will be issued for unused rental nights.
  • If the property becomes unavailable or uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control (including but not limited to fire, hurricane, earthquake, strike, riot, or other force majeure events), the Owner will refund all payments received.
  • In the event of late payment or non-payment, the Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the outstanding balance is not received within three (3) business days of written notification.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 60 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 30 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
