Blue Cottage - Garden Villa near the Marina | Bahía Chavón, Casa de Campo Resort

Wheel the bikes out the gate and roll down to the Marina in the morning, then back to the pool before the day heats up. Blue Cottage is a two-storey villa on a big hedged garden in Bahía Chavón, on the rise just above the Casa de Campo Marina and its restaurants and shops along the Chavón River. It sleeps six across three bedrooms, with a housekeeper keeping the place in order. It's the villa for a family or a couple of couples who want a relaxed base near the water rather than the polish of a big estate.

Most of the day happens outside. A long pool sits on a red-tiled deck, with a thatched gazebo for shade at one end. The lawn runs back under mature palms, with room for a game before dinner. Inside is bright and easy, with white sofas and a long table where the whole group eats together at the end of the day. In the afternoons someone rides a bike down to the Marina to look at the boats, and the walk back is short enough that no one minds. Two of the bedrooms have two beds each, for kids or friends sharing.

Blue Cottage sits on the quiet side of the Marina, so an evening out is a walk rather than a drive, with the restaurants and boats close enough to wander over whenever you feel like it. Minitas Beach and Altos de Chavón are a short drive when you want them. It's the villa to book when you want an easy, homey base by the water, with a pool and a garden and the Marina at the end of the street, rather than a formal estate.

RESORT FEE
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

RESORT FEE / ACCESS & AMENITIES INCLUDE
Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of their stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:
