Casa Ottanta is built for two families, or three generations of one, who want the kids close by without everyone living on top of each other. It is a new single-level villa in Los Lagos, Casa de Campo, with five bedrooms for ten guests, and two of those bedrooms have a pair of beds each, which is where the cousins will end up. A cook takes care of breakfast and lunch, so no parent spends half the holiday at the stove.

The first kid is usually in the pool before breakfast has been cleared off the covered terrace. By late morning the group has spread out. The smallest swimmers take over the round jacuzzi at the end of the pool, the older ones chase a ball the length of the lawn, and whoever wanted a quiet hour is reading on the railed terrace outside their bedroom. The planting around the garden has grown so thick and green that the neighbours might as well be on another island. Once the heat eases, someone lights the grill, the long table inside fills up, and the adults are still sitting there after the last child has been walked to bed.

Minitas Beach is a short cart ride away for mornings on the sand. Teeth of the Dog, ranked the #1 golf course in the Caribbean by the World Golf Awards, and The Links are a short ride too; tee times are booked directly with the resort. Casa Ottanta is the villa to book when you want a new house, a garden big enough for everyone, and the daytime cooking handled for you.

RESORT FEE & ACCESS
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:

• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old

Resort fee provides access to:

• Golf courses, Fitness Center, resort restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.
• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area, and at Minitas Beach.
• Health care services at the Central Romana Medical Center.
