Casa de Campo® Golf Tournaments 2027: Pro-Am Calendar & Villa Guide

Oct 14, 2026Golf, News, Resort Guide

The 53rd International Pro Am at Casa de Campo® does not start until 5 January 2027, and it is already sold out. That is the reality of winter tournament golf here. The fields that matter fill in autumn, and the villas closest to the first tee go with them.

The good news is that the 2026–27 season has more ways in than any before it. There are three new events, a second January pro-am that is still open, and a small European Pro-Am in March limited to 24 golfers. Below is the full calendar from late November to March, what each event involves, what the resort packages include and how to plan a villa stay around tournament week.

The 2026–27 Winter Tournament Calendar at a Glance

These are the dates published by the Casa de Campo® golf department as of October 2026:

  • Pete Dye Society Legacy Classic: 14–19 November 2026
  • Oh Canada Pro Am: 18–23 November 2026
  • The Birdie Club Experience: 25–29 November 2026
  • 21st Casa de Campo® Twosome Championship: 30 November – 6 December 2026
  • Spanish Cup Casa de Campo®: 2–8 December 2026
  • 53rd Annual International Pro Am: 5–10 January 2027 (sold out, waitlist only)
  • 43rd Annual Caribbean International Pro Am I: 12–17 January 2027
  • 40th Annual Caribbean International Pro Am II: 2–7 March 2027
  • European Pro-Am: 5–10 March 2027

Every event uses the resort’s Pete Dye courses. Teeth of the Dog is back in tournament play after reopening from its renovation on 7 December 2025, and most events rotate across it, Dye Fore and The Links. For the earlier part of the 2026 calendar, including the Casa de Campo® Open, see our 2026 tournament guide.

January: The Winter Pro-Am Series

January is the heart of the tournament season. The two International pro-ams run back to back and share the same format, so many teams treat them as one long golf trip.

53rd Annual International Pro Am (5–10 January 2027)

This is the longest-running event of the winter season, and the 2027 edition is listed as sold out. Teams are one professional and three amateurs. They play four rounds in a Two Best Balls of Four format, with amateur handicaps at 85% and professionals playing off scratch. Flights are split by total team handicap, with net and gross prizes in each. The week opens with a welcome cocktail at Minitas Beach Club and closes with an awards dinner at the Marina. If you still want a place, the golf office keeps a waitlist.

43rd Annual Caribbean International Pro Am I (12–17 January 2027)

This one uses the same format and is still taking registrations, but the resort warns that it fills fast. Rounds start at 7:30am on 13–16 January, across Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links. The resort package includes five nights in a hotel room or resort villa, meals at resort restaurants, drinks, a golf cart per room, practice and departure-day rounds, airport transfers and the entry fee. Published starting rates are about US$5,369 per golfer sharing and US$6,679 single, with non-golfing partners from about US$2,989.

March: Pro Am II and the New European Pro-Am

40th Annual Caribbean International Pro Am II (2–7 March 2027)

This is the spring edition of the January event: one professional and three amateurs per team across Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links.

European Pro-Am (5–10 March 2027)

New for 2027, this is the smallest field of the season at 24 golfers, and it closes once full. The schedule has practice rounds on Dye Fore and Teeth of the Dog, then one Pro-Am round on each, finishing with a farewell dinner at Minitas Beach Club. The all-inclusive package starts at about US$4,550 per golfer sharing (US$3,290 for non-golfers) and is booked through the resort’s European sales contact rather than the main golf office.

November and December: The Early-Season Events

These start sooner, so they suit golfers who are already flexible on dates.

  • Pete Dye Society Legacy Classic (14–19 November). A new six-day, five-night event honouring the course designer. It includes a practice round on Teeth of the Dog, a relaxed round on The Links and two tournament rounds.
  • Oh Canada Pro Am (18–23 November). Also new, with one professional and three amateurs per team across all three courses.
  • The Birdie Club Experience (25–29 November). Five days of golf with coaching from David Vanegas, limited to 20 golfers. It is more of a clinic than a competition, and good for improving players.
  • 21st Twosome Championship (30 November – 6 December). Teams of two, either two amateurs or a professional and an amateur, play five rounds: one on The Links, two on Dye Fore and two on Teeth of the Dog.
  • Spanish Cup (2–8 December). An amateur, individual Stableford event in its sixth year, registered through an external Spanish organiser.

Tournament Package or Private Villa?

The resort sells most of these events as packages. The entry fee is bundled with resort accommodation, meals and a golf cart, and no separate entry-only price is published. That suits a single foursome. It suits groups less well: two teams travelling together, families with non-golfers, or anyone who wants a chef, a pool and their own space between rounds.

Before you book anything, ask the golf office whether your event can be entered without the accommodation package. The answer differs by event. If it can, a private villa gives a larger group one shared base, with staff, a pool and space to unwind together. If it cannot, many of our guests book the package for the players and a villa for the rest of the party, or add villa nights before or after tournament week. Our stays run from 3 to 14 nights, so a tournament week plus a few days of rest fits comfortably.

Golf-side neighbourhoods such as Punta Aguila and the villas along the Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore fairways put you a short cart ride from the first tee. Browse our golf villas at Casa de Campo® for options from couples to full tournament groups.

Planning a Villa Stay Around Tournament Week

  • Book the villa early. Early January is already peak season because of the New Year holidays, and the pro-ams push demand higher. Villas near the courses go first.
  • Tee times are booked directly with the resort. Non-participants should expect fewer tee times during tournament weeks, so reserve practice rounds as soon as your dates are firm. See our green fees guide for current pricing.
  • Golf carts are not included with villa rentals. Resort packages include a cart per room. If you stay in a villa, rent carts separately and book early for tournament weeks (golf cart guide).
  • The resort access fee applies to every villa guest, whether or not they play. Read our access fee guide before you budget.
  • Fly into La Romana if you can. The resort’s own airport is minutes from the gate, and our La Romana airport guide covers winter routes and transfers.

How to Register

Most events register online through the resort’s tee-time portal, linked from each event page on the official Casa de Campo® golf tournaments page. The golf office (+1 809 523 8115, golf@ccampo.com.do) handles questions, waitlists and entry rules. The Spanish Cup and the European Pro-Am use their own contacts, listed on their event pages. Your Caribbean Paradise Homes concierge can coordinate the villa, carts, transfers and private chef around your tournament schedule once your entry is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the International Pro Am Sold Out?

Yes. The resort lists the January 2027 International Pro Am as sold out with a waitlist. Caribbean International Pro Am I, a week later, uses the same format and was still open in October 2026.
