Casa de Campo Nightlife at a Glance
The resort does not have a nightlife “strip”. Instead, four venues each own a different kind of evening. Most guests use two or three of them in a week.
- Genesis Nightclub in the Altos de Chavón area: DJ, dancing and cocktails, Thursday to Saturday from 10 p.m.
- La Caña Bar & Lounge in the main hotel area: live Dominican music, cigars and rum, with the bar open until 1 a.m.

Genesis Nightclub: The Late Shift
Genesis is the resort’s only dedicated nightclub. It has been a Casa de Campo fixture since the 1970s. Capacity is 400, so it feels busy without feeling like a stadium.
Hours and Dress Code
According to the resort’s Genesis page, the club opens Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. until late. The dress code is strict. Shorts, bathing suits, hats or caps and sleeveless shirts are not allowed.

What the Resort Does Not Publish
The resort does not list a cover charge or a minimum spend. Groups can reserve through reservations@genesisnightclub.com. However, for a villa party of eight or more, we suggest asking our concierge team to book it for you.
La Caña: Live Music, Cigars and Rum
La Caña is where the evening starts for many guests. It is a French-inspired restaurant in the main hotel area, and the bar stays open from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Dinner runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
After dinner, the bar and lounge fill with local live music. Guests also settle in with hand-rolled cigars and a curated list of Dominican rums. Because the restaurant holds 120 guests, the room stays intimate.

SBG and the Marina: Sunset Into Dancing
The marina is the easiest evening of the week. SBG sits on the waterfront and runs sunset sessions with live music and DJs. Then the crowd drifts into dancing at the water’s edge.

Altos de Chavón After Dark
Altos de Chavón is the resort’s stone-built Mediterranean-style village above the Chavón River. By day it is galleries and cobbled lanes. By night it is the setting for the biggest evenings on the property.
The 6,000-Seat Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre seats 6,000 people. It has hosted Sting, Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, Gloria Estefan and Juan Luis Guerra. Concerts follow an event calendar rather than a weekly pattern, so check dates before you book flights.
Dinner, Then the Club

Nights That Happen at Your Villa
Here is the part the resort pages never mention. Many of the best evenings at Casa de Campo never leave the villa.

The Quiet Night
Start with sunset drinks at SBG. Then have dinner at La Caña and finish with a cigar and a rum at the bar. You are back at the villa before 1 a.m.
The Big Night
Book an early dinner in Altos de Chavón. Walk the village after dark, then move to Genesis after 10 p.m. This only works Thursday to Saturday, so plan your arrival day around it.
The Family Night

December to April is the dry season and the busiest stretch, so every venue above runs at full energy.
