Birthday & Anniversary Villas at Casa de Campo®

A milestone week with the people you want at the table, in a private staffed house; the villa is where everyone stays, and the party, if there is one, is at the resort’s venues

Why a villa for the milestone week

A 50th, a 60th or a 25th anniversary is rarely about one night. It is a week with the children, the grandchildren and the three or four couples who have been there all along, and a hotel splits that group into rooms and restaurant bookings. A staffed villa at Casa de Campo® puts everyone in one house: one long table every evening, a cook who does breakfast and lunch, golf for the players and Minitas Beach for the rest, and the Marina or Altos de Chavón for the night you want to go out. The dinner that marks the day is prepared by the cook at the villa for the registered party; a bigger event with guests from outside the house is held at one of the resort’s venues, and we introduce you.

Celebration villas, verified room by room

Nine houses with a cook and a butler, a dining table for the whole party and bedrooms for three generations. Rates are from-prices per night for the whole villa, before the 18% service charge; the table seats are confirmed per villa when you enquire.

The house-rules question, answered first

Casa de Campo® villas are private homes in a residential community, and every owner’s rental terms say the same thing: no house parties or events at the villa, no guests beyond the registered party, no live music, DJs or amplified sound. We say this first because a milestone celebration here is a different thing from a party. It is a week in one house with your family and closest friends, one long table every evening, and on the night itself a dinner prepared by the cook for the people staying in the house, by arrangement and with the groceries billed at cost.

If you want a band, a dance floor and sixty guests, Casa de Campo® holds that kind of event at its own venues at Altos de Chavón and the Marina. We introduce you to the resort’s events team, and the villa is where you and your family sleep, breakfast and recover.

Where celebrations stay

Punta Minitas, Costamar and Caleton for the house with the sea in front and the staff to run it. Punta Aguila and Vista Chavón for the view at sunset and the golf at the door. Las Palmas and Vistamar for seven and eight bedrooms at the best value, a cart ride from everything.

The milestone week

The arrival

Carts at the villa, the kitchen pre-stocked to your list, the butler showing everyone to their rooms; La Romana airport is ten minutes away, Punta Cana about fifty.

The days

Golf for the players at Teeth of the Dog®, Minitas Beach for the rest, a boat to Saona or Catalina for the group day, the Kids Club for the four-to-twelves.

The dinner

On the night that matters the cook prepares the dinner at the villa for the registered party, a Dominican feast on the terrace or the menu you bring; one table, everyone on it.

The night out

Dinner at the Marina with the yachts in view, or at Altos de Chavón on the hilltop; the resort’s restaurants take a long table, and the carts bring everyone home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we have a party at the villa?

No. Casa de Campo® villas are private homes and every owner’s rental terms prohibit house parties and events at the villa, guests beyond the registered party, and live or amplified music. What you can do is spend the week in one house with your family and friends and have the cook prepare the celebration dinner for the people staying there.

Can the cook prepare the celebration dinner?

Yes, by arrangement before arrival. The cook works villa hours, 8 am to 5 pm, for breakfast and lunch; the dinner on the night itself is arranged with the villa and billed as an extra, with the groceries at cost.

Can we invite friends who are staying elsewhere to the dinner?

No. Only the registered party may be at the villa. For a dinner that includes guests staying outside the house, the resort’s restaurants take long tables, and we book it for you.

Where can we hold a bigger event with a band and more guests?

At the resort’s own venues at Altos de Chavón and the Marina, which Casa de Campo® runs through its events team. We introduce you, and the villa is where your family stays.

Can we order a cake, flowers or a photographer?

A cake from La Romana and flowers for the table can be arranged through our concierge and delivered to the villa. A photographer for the family at the villa is arranged on request; vendors enter the resort as registered visitors.

Can we book two villas for a bigger family?

Yes. For twenty or more we place the party in two villas in the same neighbourhood, so the long table is in one house and everyone is a cart ride apart. Each villa has its own agreement.

How is the resort access fee charged for the party?

Per registered villa guest per night: US$30 per adult and US$15 per child aged 4 to 12, separate from the villa rate.

How far ahead should we book, and what is the minimum stay?

Three nights minimum outside the festive period, seven to ten over Christmas and New Year. For eight bedrooms or more in high season, December to April, book six to nine months ahead; the beachfront houses go first.
