The 4th Annual Casa de Campo® Food & Wine Festival took place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October 2026. For two days the Grand Tasting Pavilion at the Marina Riverside Center hosted the resort’s largest food event of the year, and if you stayed in a Marina villa it was a walk from your front door rather than a drive across the resort.
This page now covers how the 2026 festival was set up, who cooked, what it cost and how to plan a villa stay around the next edition, which has not yet been dated.
How the 2026 Festival Ran
Two days, two venues:
- Friday 9 October — Day One at the Grand Tasting Pavilion, Marina Riverside Center: live cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, mixology and conversations with the chefs.
- Saturday 10 October — Day Two at the Grand Tasting Pavilion, followed by Dinner Under the Stars at Minitas Beach Club.
The festival was planned for more than 3,000 guests and over 30 exhibitors — food producers, wineries and premium spirits brands — with winemakers pouring their own wines and each course brought to guests at their seats, so there were no queues. Univision’s Raúl de Molina hosted, and the event was presented in partnership with Invited.
Dinner Under the Stars closed the weekend: an open-air dinner on the sand at Minitas with paired wines and cocktails, live music, a DJ and fireworks over the beach.
The 2026 Chef Lineup
- Michael Mina — founder of the Mina Group, known for a contemporary American repertoire built on a long portfolio of high-end restaurants.
- Hubert Keller — the French-born, Michelin-starred chef of Fleur de Lys fame, in his fourth consecutive year at Casa de Campo®.
- Joe Isidori — chef, restaurateur and founder of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, back for a second year.
- Adam Pawlak — the Top Chef finalist behind the Egg & Flour pasta bars, who led Dinner Under the Stars at Minitas.
- Gabriel Tejada — the Dominican chef on the festival lineup.
Dinner Under the Stars was cooked by Adam Pawlak with Bryan Noury, Marcus Gleadow and Adrián Ramírez.
The resort had also rebuilt its culinary leadership ahead of the festival. In March 2026 it appointed Pedro Arceyut as Director of Food & Beverage, Osamu Román as Culinary Director, and Marcela Pizarro as General Manager of Altos de Chavón.
What It Cost
Dinner Under the Stars was priced at US$250 per person plus taxes, including selected wines and cocktails. Festival tickets were sold through the resort’s ticketing partner, Invited, which is where the next edition’s tiers will be published.
Villa guests also pay the resort access fee — US$30 per adult per night and US$15 per child aged 4–12 — on top of any festival ticket. We break it down in full in our access fee guide.
Planning for the Next Festival
Casa de Campo® has not yet announced dates for the 2027 edition. The festival has been held in early October in recent years — 7–12 October in 2025 and 9–10 October in 2026 — so early October is the window to watch.
The Grand Tasting Pavilion’s location is the practical detail that should shape where you stay. In 2026 both pavilion days were at the Marina Riverside Center, so a marina-front villa put the festival within walking distance — no cart, no driver, no negotiating the resort’s internal roads after a wine tasting.
Minitas Beach Club, where the closing dinner is held, sits on the other side of the resort, 10–15 minutes from the Marina by cart. A golf cart is the standard way between the two; carts are not included in the villa rate, and we arrange the rental for you.
October is shoulder season at Casa de Campo®, so villa rates sit well below the December-to-April peak, but availability tightens around the festival weekend and the villas closest to the Marina go first. Once the 2027 dates are out, it is worth checking what is available early.
