Specifically, the treatment philosophy leans on German wellness technology paired with family-owned luxury skincare houses — EviDenS de Beauté, Ayuna and Moringaïa among them — and local Dominican ingredients like moringa oil, honey, cane sugar and hibiscus. In other words, it’s a deliberate mix of high-tech and garden-to-skin.
The hydrothermal circuit: the part most guests miss
Here’s the single most useful thing in this guide. Your treatment is only half of what you’re paying for — the hydrothermal circuit is the other half, and it’s the part first-timers skip because nobody explains the timing.
The circuit is a sequence of hot-and-cold experiences designed to move blood, loosen muscle and reset your nervous system before a single hand touches you. It includes:
- A sauna and steam bath
- A vitality pool and a cold plunge pool
- Thermal loungers (heated, contoured stone)
- A Kneipp Walk — a cold-water reflexology channel you wade through
- An outdoor pool for sun-warmed recovery afterwards
Therefore, to use it properly you need to arrive 90 minutes before your treatment. In practice, most guests turn up fifteen minutes early, miss the circuit entirely, and pay full price for half the experience. Bathing attire is required throughout the hydrothermal areas, so pack a swimsuit for your spa day.
Importantly, for families: the hydrothermal circuit and treatment areas are strictly 18-plus. This is where the resort stays vague and we can be specific. Prices shift with the season and the menu, but the 2026 anchors are:

Now the part that catches people out. Every price is subject to 18% legal tax plus a 10% service charge — roughly 28% on top of the headline rate. That US$365 journey is closer to US$467 once it’s signed to your villa account. Budget for it so the bill at the end is calm rather than a surprise.
Two ways to soften it: villa owners receive a discount with their Courtesy Card, and treatments can be charged straight to your villa account, paid by card, in Dominican pesos at the day’s rate, or with a Casa de Campo gift card.
Spa treatments at your villa
The detail no aggregator and no competitor villa site spells out: you don’t have to go to the spa at all. A therapist can come to you.
In-villa massages and treatments are one of the quiet luxuries of renting at Casa de Campo — a couples’ massage on your own terrace at sunset, no golf-cart ride, no locker room, the kids asleep inside. Our concierge team (/guest-services/) arranges it as readily as a private chef or a pre-stocked fridge, matching the therapist and treatment to what you want and timing it around the rest of your day.
For the full hydrothermal circuit you’ll still want to visit the spa itself — that infrastructure can’t travel. But for a straightforward massage or facial, in-villa is often the better call: more private, more relaxed, and no 90-minute lead time.
